Where are you located?
I am located at 180 Pinehurst Avenue Apt. 2 (between 185th. And 187th st. in Washington Heights, Manhattan). Conveniently located 1 block from the “A” train 181st. stop.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Cash and Personal Checks.
Do I have to pay up front?
If you are booking a discount package plan of lessons, payment is required up front prior to the lesson. These can be paid here on my website via Paypal or you can send me payments as per the above forms of payment.
What is your cancellation policy?
I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel your lesson, and have purchased a discount package plan of lessons, and don’t cancel it within this time-frame, you will lose the lesson and the ability to reschedule that particular one. There are always exceptions made if it is an extenuating emergent situation that arises such as Covid, or any other illness.
Do you teach all levels even Beginners?
Yes, I teach all levels of people wanting to study voice or guitar, ranging from Beginners, Intermediate and High Level Professionals. All are welcome in my studio.
Do you teach children and if so, what is the youngest age you start them?
Yes, I love to teach children, have a lot of experience doing so, and my youngest student is 7. Prior to that age, it is difficult to have enough strength, size or dexterity for guitar hands, and for voice, I prefer to see the voice mature a little, which we find happens more at age 7 and beyond. Again, there are always exceptions that can be made.
Are you patient and kind? Some of my past teachers were mean at times.
Definitely! I don’t believe in negative reinforcement as a learning tool. I am all about instilling in students the joy of learning music in the most positive and encouraging way possible. I am here to get you to the next level while supporting you as a teacher.
How can I contact you to find out more?
I try to get back to inquiries in a very timely manner.
